Looks like Emma Stone won’t be climbing atop CRIMSON PEAK along with the rest of Guillermo del Toro’s fantastic cast for his next film. For whatever reason (I’d bet scheduling difficulties), Stone has left the film, and it looks like ALICE IN WONDERLAND and STOKER star Mia Wasikowska is looking to take her place in the ensemble. Stellar choice.
Plans are to begin shooting in February 2014 for the supernatural thriller.
With or without Stone, the cast looks sparkly and purdy: Charlie Hunnam, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jessica Chastain are signed on.
